Quaich
Love & friendship
The word Quaich originates from the old Scottish word Cuach meaning cup. It is a symbol of love and friendship and in years gone by reflected trust as you passed the quaich on to be drunk from, (it is unlikely the whiskey in the quaich will be poisoned if you are drinking from it first!)
Today it can be filled with your choice of tipple including juice if children are participating.
A very symbolic way of showing your love, trust and friendship in a ceremony.
