CEREMONIES

We have been preforming Ceremony and Ritual since the beginning of time, they are the most magical way to declare your love and move gracefully to the next chapter. Through Ceremony we form the bridge for all those who have gone before us and invite them to witness this most sacred blessing. Without Ceremony what are you left with?

Let's talk about

Ceremonies

A ceremony is a formal, often traditional set of acts performed for important social, religious, or official occasions. It is a structured event such as a wedding, graduation, or funeral and is used to mark significant milestones, rites of passage, or to honour customs. Some of the most popular ceremonies I perform.

Wedding

You are getting married, huge congratulations, and in Scotland. Scottish locations are some of the most breath-taking in the world. Embracing your ideas, I will create a ceremony that fits with you, beautiful, meaningful and as much fun as you desire.

Funeral

It is a time of mourning and heartbreak, but also a time to celebrate a life, sharing stories, passions, and anecdotes. When we say goodbye, it is so important that the right ceremony is created for us.

Vow Renewal

I would be honoured to help you create a ceremony that fits like a glove with your story, that brings all the threads of love, joy, fun and hardship and weaves them all into the rich tapestry of life and unity.

Commitment

I would be honoured to help you create a ceremony that fits like a glove with your story, that brings all the threads of love, joy, fun and hardship and weaves them all into the rich tapestry of life and unity.

Elopement

I would be honoured to help you create a ceremony that fits like a glove with your story, that brings all the threads of love, joy, fun and hardship and weaves them all into the rich tapestry of life and unity.

Your ceremony can be completely unique to you

There are so many opportunities to celebrate a bespoke ceremony. They are not only limited to the most common ones. I have conducted everything from baby naming, adoption, blending families to celebrating the life of a pet.

Let's talk about

Rituals

Traditions and customs bring rich experiences to our lives and my bespoke rituals do this. Whether you want to integrate one into a ceremony or do something with out a big fuss there are no rules.

Common Rituals

I have listed a few of the most common to give you an idea but if you want to discuss something unique feel at ease to reach out.

A handfasting is a symbolic act of commitment, connection, and shared intention, a ritual that brings meaning, history, and beauty into a ceremony. A popular ceremony especially since Outlander and Braveheart. It is in fact an ancient Celtic tradition dating back as far as 7000bc.

The oathing stone ritual is a deeply symbolic act of commitment, connection, and ancestral honour. Rooted in ancient tradition, it invites couples to anchor their promises in something enduring, drawing strength from the land, the elements, and those who came before.

The Quaich ceremony is a traditional Scottish ritual that symbolises love, trust, and friendship. Shared between two people, it represents unity, mutual respect, and the willingness to offer and receive in equal measure.

The Caim (pronounced ky-m) is a traditional Celtic “encircling” prayer or ritual used for protection, invoking a sense of sacred space and divine presence. Originating from Scottish Gaelic, it involves drawing an invisible circle around oneself or others, often moving clockwise (sunwise), to symbolise safety, unity, and separation from negative forces.

Every bespoke ceremony begins with a casual conversation

Whether you’re at the very beginning or already have a clear idea in mind, a simple conversation is often the best place to start. There’s no pressure, just a chance to explore what feels right for you.
